I ran my first 5k today! I love walking and riding my bike, but I’ve never been a runner. It’s a great way to get exercise, however, and a few months ago I started a “Couch to 5 km” (C25K) program. I ran with a friend this morning, and we did a leisurely run around Lake Merritt in Oakland. It was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to my next one.
