The news about the fires in southern California, at least up here in the bay area, has been focused mainly on the homes lost in Malibu. It wasn’t until this morning that I heard about the 100′ walls of flame and dry, dry Santa Ana winds that have caused the emergency evacuation of much of San Diego county. Our hearts go out to everyone displaced by the fires, and to my friends who still live in San Diego County, be safe.
