The kitchen was not lonely these past couple of days. I was in there on Saturday making test recipes (lemon-blueberry tart and tahini-yogurt sauce…enjoyed separately, people!). Wayne’s turn was on Sunday, and he made delicious homemade spinach linguine with mushroom-spinach marinara. It was rather healthy, very flavorful, and made good use of the cremini and oyster mushrooms we found at the local farmer’s market.
We also made time for a brisk walk around the lake, some work on our wedding photo album, booking our honeymoon, and lesson plans. Summer school starts in ten hours…no wonder I can’t sleep!
