Worlds Greatest Margarita

For our 500th post, I thought I would publish my recipe for the worlds greatest blended margarita. Enjoy!

Mix the following in the blender:

Serve in a chilled, salt lined margarita glass. I run a piece of lime around the rim of the glass before dipping it in the salt, but you can use whatever you want. The resulting drink is really fresh and citrusy and surprisingly mild. It’s a drink you can have a few of on a hot day and not worry about it too much. If you want it to have more of a kick, double the tequila.

The down side of this recipe is it is very acidic, which means you might need a few antacids after drinking one. I’ve tinkered with the recipe to remove some the acid, but everyone keeps telling me to go back to the original because the sour stomach is worth it. 🙂
