As I was leaving for work this morning it started to hail. Yes, hail. In the San Francisco bay area, in June. That’s completely insane. Unlike the Midwest, it almost never hails here, and on the rare times it does it hails in the middle of winter. This global climate change is scary stuff, especially since with the Siberian permafrost defrosting we no longer have the power to do anything about it.
In other random news, I really wish I’d take a few days off to go to Google I/O 2009. I didn’t want to pay the registration fees out of pocket or take the days off, and now I’m regretting it. It looks like it was a cool event, and I’m sure I would have learned a lot of good, useful job related stuff there.
