The Cinco de Mayo festival was fun, but not spectacular. I was hoping we’d be able to get some good food there, but like last year it was mostly poorly run booths and roach coaches. Ug. Not for us. We took Corinne out at noon, but she quickly got overwhelmed and fussy. A few hours and a long nap later she had fun, but by then things were starting to wind down. There seemed to be less there than there was last year, but that might have been because of last minute cancellations due to the rain. In the end it wasn’t rainy though, just sort of grey.
Other than the fair the weekend was quiet, just like we planned. We got a lot of stuff done around the house and whatnot. Oh, I almost forgot, Raelene made a totally freakin’ awesome vegan matzo ball soup for Dinner on Saturday. Oh my that was good. 🙂
