One of the coolest things about the baby is how insanely happy she is each morning. As fussy as she might be in the evening, and as little as she might sleep at night, when 5:30AM rolls around she is up and giggling and ready for the day to begin. It’s cool. 🙂
Last night Raelene, Corinne, and I all went to see the sing-a-long version of Mamma Mia!, and we had a lot of fun. The baby sang for a few minutes, but then she quickly fell asleep and remained asleep for rest of the film. I, on the other hand, sang like no one was listening. The only bad thing was the theatre was fairly empty, I was hoping for both more babies and more ABBA fans screaming and singing and really getting into it. But like I said, it was a lot of fun. Thank you Cerrito Theatre for opening your doors to children under the age of 1 for “Baby Brigade (aka The Crying Room).”
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that your day is looking bright. 🙂
First, the important stuff… new baby pics are up! Check them out!
What else… Raelene, Corinne, and I had a weekend that was both good and busy. On Saturday we went house hunting in San Leandro. The prices are still steep, very steep, and I’m not sure if we’re going to be able to afford to get into a good school district down there. I thought the real estate bubble burst? 🙂 But as high as they are, the prices in San Leandro are certainly better than they are in El Cerrito (Albany and Berkeley are still out of the question, and we want out of Richmond), so it’s worth looking.
On Sunday Raelene, Corinne, and I went to a barbecue hosted by my Aunt Janice and Uncle Ken. My Aunt Joyce and Uncle Bill, my sister Marcy, and mother were all there as well, and we all had a lot of fun. Corinne seemed to enjoy the camera and attention, while at one point my sister started screaming “no more pictures!” and running around the back yard so no one could photograph her. Like I said, it was a lot of fun. 🙂
We’re planning on heading back down to San Leandro next weekend to look for houses, and possibly opening up our search to include San Lorenzo as well. Hopefully we’ll be able to find something we both like and can afford.
And that’s it! Have a good week, and be careful out there.
