The weather was beautiful this past weekend, so we to try and take full advantage of it. As a bonus, Corinne had a few firsts along the way! I’ve already blogged about the sleep miracle, so I won’t mention that again. It was a pretty awesome first though. 🙂
On Saturday Corinne went on her first steam train ride. We drove up to the steam trains in Tilden Park for a birthday party, and train was all part of the fun. Corinne had a huge grin the entire time.
On Sunday we had a picnic with our friend Marsha, who is always a joy to see. Corinne played on the playground, and she’s getting very good climbing and sliding and having all sorts of fun. Later that day we went to our local park, and there Corinne tried the big kids swings for the first time. She loved them! It’s hard to believe that less than a year ago she was terrified of swings, to the point where seeing a swing on her signing video would make her cry. Now all she wants to do is swing. 🙂
Last night we took advantage of the weather to go for a walk. Everything is in bloom, which means the smells are amazing and allergies bad. Thank goodness for Benedryl.
