Rainy Days

It’s been rainy here. Lots and lots of rain. We need the rain, so I’m not complaining. But I’m also ready for it to stop.

I’ve added a new reviews widget to the site. If you enjoy what you read here, please click on it and take the time to review us. I could review us, sure, but I’m not exactly unbiased. 🙂

Last Thursday Corinne came down with the same stomach bug that Raelene had, generating huge amounts of laundry and causing us to cancel most of our weekend plans. She was a real trooper about it, and seemed genuinely sorry for getting sick all over the place. By Friday afternoon she was fine, and so far I’ve been spared. *knock on wood* We’re still a bit worried about spreading it around, though, so we kept our plans canceled.

On Saturday we managed to get to the El Cerrito farmer’s market, and then picked some stuff up at Target. Sunday was a stay at home while it rained outside day.

Late last week we watched Julie & Julia, which was a cute movie even if it did involve a lot of dead animals. Meryl Streep was amazing as Julia Child, absolutely amazing. Next up is Food Inc, which I imagine is going to be pretty intense.

Tonight the Richmond city council is recognizing the North & East Neighborhood Patrol group again, and Raelene will be there while I watch Corinne. Go N&E Patrol!

Next weekend is (tentatively) my CthulhuTech game and a Sunday brunch with friends. I still haven’t seen Avatar, but maybe we can work that in as well sometime.
