I spent this past weekend camping in Hillsboro, Oregon. This was by far the biggest gathering of folks from the PPK discussion forums, and quite a memorable experience. There were about 50 people from about age 9 to 40, late-night campfires, and quite possibly some of the best vegan food around. I’m talking about chili and cornbread, blackberry scones, foot long hot dogs with all the fixins, potato salad with fresh dill, and some amazingly wonderful pancakes with maple and blackberry syrups.
This was quite possibly the last camping trip I will have for a while, but what a fun excuse to be outside and live a little.
